This is a healthy 46 year old white female. She is 5’10” and 175lbs, which is fairly stable for her. Her only previous surgery was a laparoscopic gallbladder. She has had four children through natural birth. She nursed three of them and she is a non-smoker. She desired a mommy makeover. Examination showed the right breast in good position with just a bit of inferior constriction. The left breast had a bit of glandular ptosis and sat about 1.0cm lower than the right. We discussed a dual-plan augmentation with a left crescent lift and preformed external sizing to around 550cc due to her wide base width of 16.5cm. As far as her abdomen was concerned, she had laxity both above and below the umbilicus with some fullness in the hips and would require a full abdominoplasty with liposuction. She decided to proceed with surgery and underwent an uncomplicated dual-plane augmentation mammoplasty utilizing 550cc moderate plus smooth silicone implants with a left crescent lift and a full abdominoplasty with plication and liposuction of the hips. Her postoperative course was completely unremarkable and photos taken at two months show that she has healed beautifully. The breasts have achieved her desired fullness and are nicely round and symmetric. Her abdomen is flat with a nice contour to her waist. She now has a very nice figure for her tall frame. This is a 37 year old white female. She had three c-sections, she is a non-smoker and she is very active. She is 5’5” and 135lbs. She had two areas of concern. First was her lower abdominal pooch. The area above the umbilicus was reasonable, but she did have laxity below the umbilicus with fullness to the tissue. As far as her breasts were concerned; her bra size was a 36B, symmetric with good nipple to inframammary fold distance and a 14.0cm base width. Her desire was to be in the full C range and after external sizing she chose a 400cc moderate plus implant. This is a 32 year old healthy white female. She is 5’3” and 160lbs. She has had two children via c-section. She was interested in a mommy makeover. Examination showed that she had a very lax abdomen with a pannus and almost double bubble presentation. She also had mild diastasis of the rectus muscle. As far as her breasts were concerned her bra size was a 36B was second degree ptosis and her desire was to be in the D bra range. This is a 50 year old healthy white female. She’s had two c-sections. She is 5’5” and 125lbs. Her bra size is a 34A. Her desire was to be fuller in that large B/ Small C range. She also had a little bit of lower abdominal laxity above her c-section incision, which she wished to improve. We preformed external sizing as well as 3D and she wished to stay in the 250cc range. Due to her base width dimensions a classic style implant was chosen. She underwent an unremarkable subpectoral augmentation as well as a mini modified abdominoplasty with lower abdominal plication. Her postoperative course was unremarkable and she was back to most activities within several weeks. Photos obtained at four months show that the breasts and abdomen have healed nicely. This is a 42 year old white female. She is 5’5” and 165lbs. She had four children through natural birth and since then she has lost 50lbs through diet and exercise. This has resulted in loss of volume in her breasts and the development of ptosis. She used to be a 38D and now her current cup size is in the B range. Her abdomen has developed laxity both above and below the umbilicus with a small diastasis. She has had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the past and is a non-smoker. Her bra size was a 36B, but she had a short nipple to inframammory fold distance and a constricted base. Her desire was to be in that full C bra size range. She had a base width of 13.5cm. I explained to her that her breasts would have to be approached as in a tuberous breast deformity with a periareolar incision, releasing the lower pole, dual-plane augmentation and periareolar mastopexy. She understood that this would elevate the nipple areola, but was limited by the deficiency of skin. As far as her abdomen was concerned she would require a full abdominoplasty with a mild plication for the postpartum laxity and mild separation of the rectus muscle. Having discussed all of the risks and benefits she decided to proceed and underwent the augmentation mastopexy utilizing a 425cc moderate plus smooth silicone implant on the right and a 400cc implant on the left since the left breast was slightly larger. She also underwent a standard abdominoplasty with plication and liposuction of the hips. Her postoperative course was completely uneventful. She was back to her duties as a nurse at three weeks. Photos obtained at three months show that she is healing quite nicely. The breasts are now at her desired fullness with nice elevation of the nipple and areola despite the limited inferior tissue and constricted base. The areola no longer point downward. This is a 33 year old healthy white female. She is 5’7” and 150lbs, which is her stable weight. She had a subglandular saline augmentation 11 years prior in the 400cc range. She has done reasonably well, has had two children and breast fed, but now has ptosis related to the subglandular placement of the implant. Her bra size is a 34D, which she desired to maintain. She also developed some postpartum laxity both above and below the umbilicus which she also wished to correct. In order to achieve her desired results she underwent a change of implants to a submuscular position utilizing a 450cc moderate plus smooth silicone implant followed by a vertical mastopexy to remove redundant skin and ptotic breast tissue. She also underwent a full abdominoplasty with a mild plication and liposuction of the hip/waist area. Since she was out of town she stayed in the area for two days and had an unremarkable postoperative course. Photos obtained at three months show that she has healed nicely, the breasts have maintained their fullness even with the switch to the subpectoral position and now are high and properly situated on her chest. This is a 45 year old healthy black female who has hypertension that is well controlled. She is 5’3.5” and 158lbs. She is a non-smoker. She did have two children; one by c-section. As a result of her pregnancies she has marked weakness of the abdominal wall with a significant diastasis of the rectus muscles causing her to appear pregnant at all times. It also made it very difficult for her to workout. Her first area of concern was her breasts. She had second degree ptosis with large areola, but was otherwise symmetric. Her bra size was a 36C and she wished to be in that full C range. As far as her abdomen was concerned, she had laxity both above and below the umbilicus as well as some weakness to the abdominal musculature. She also had a bit of fullness in the lower back area. Having discussed the risks and benefits of surgery she decided to proceed with the mommy makeover. She underwent a vertical mastopexy utilizing a 405cc classic smooth silicone implants as well as liposuction of the hips and lower back area of 2000cc’s with an abdominoplasty and plication. Since she was from out of town she stayed overnight in the area and then returned at 12 days for suture and drain removal. Her postoperative course has been completely unremarkable. Photos obtained at 2 months show that she has healed nicely. Her breasts are now full and elevated and the areolas are at a more appropriate size. Her abdomen is flat and she has a much more pleasing waist line. She is quite pleased with her results and is back to her very active lifestyle.

This is a 46 year old healthy female. She is 5’7” and 145lbs. She has had a c-section in the past. She did breast feed and she is a non-smoker. She had two areas of concern. First were her breasts. She had mild glandular ptosis; a bit more on the left than the right. Her bra size was a 34B and she wished to be in the full C to small D range. As far as her abdomen was concerned she had fullness and some laxity, but not a great amount above the umbilicus. She had some laxity to the lower abdominal wall and was not a good candidate for a full tummy tuck, as the scar would sit very high. In order to address her concerns a dual plan augmentation was appropriate for the breast augmentation and following external sizing she chose a 450cc moderate plus smooth silicone implant. As far as her abdomen was concerned liposuction of the abdomen with a modified tummy tuck and lower plication would address her concerns without an obvious scar. She underwent an uncomplicated surgery and an unremarkable postoperative course. Photos obtained at two months show that she is healing nicely. She has achieved her desired breast size. They are soft, symmetric and the glandular ptosis has been address. Her abdomen is flat; she has no further bulging and much approved contour while keeping the scar very low. She is back to all activity and is quite pleased with her surgical decision.
