Mommy Makeover (Breast Lift + Augmentation + Tummy Tuck) (3)
This is a 39 year old mother of 2 via natural birth. She is 5'2" tall and weighs 125lbs. Her youngest child is 6 years old and she breast fed both children. The result of all this was 1st degree ptosis (droop and deflation) in the breasts and laxity throughout the midsection. Her pre-op bra size was a 34B and and she wished to increase her bust to a full C-cup so as to regain their pre-pregnancy look and feel, which was perky and full. She also wished to regain the pre-pregnancy shape and silhouette of her waistline by sculpting away some of the fullness in her hips and tightening up all the loose skin present both above and below her umbilicus (belly button). To achieve these goals, she underwent a "Mommy Makeover" surgery that included an augmentation mastopexy (breast augmentation + lift) utilizing 375cc moderate saline implants filled to 410cc bilaterally and a full abdominoplasty with liposuctioning of the hips and love handles. Her post-operative recovery was uneventful (complication-free) and photos taken 3 months after surgery show her to be healing wonderfully. The size and shape of her breasts is ideal and compliments her figure. Her abdomen is smooth, tight and flat and once again possesses an accentuated curve between the waistline and hips. Note also in the lateral projection, the breast being nicely lifted project outward from the abdomen, which was not the case pre-operatively. Together, these changes combine to create a unified result that both the patient and myself are very happy with. -
Breast Lift + Augmentation + Tummy Tuck (Mommy Makeover Before & After) (3)
This is a 45 year old mother of two (5'4", 122 lbs) from Massachusetts who had developed post-partum loss of breast volume/fullness, mild breast ptosis (droop) and laxity of the abdominal skin. She also presented with mild diastasis of the rectus muscle which caused her stomach to bulge. Her goal for surgery was to enhance her 34B/C bust and return to her pre-pregnancy shape and silhouette in the midsection. In order to achieve the desired outcome, I performed a combined "mommy makeover" surgery that included a breast augmentation with a periareolar mastopexy plus a full abdominoplasty with some liposuction of the hips and love handles. Photos taken 3 months later show a remarkable transformation. Her previously lax and flabby stomach is now sleek, svelte and youthfully supple. Transitions between her flanks, hips, belly and lower abdomen are seamless and smooth. The incision-scar along her lower abdomen is ideally located and easily concealed. Her formally deflated breasts now posses a full and elegant shape that compliments the youthful mid-section below. Her post-op cup size is a 34C/D and just as with her tummy tuck scar, the incision surrounding each areola will continue to fade and should blend in completely over the next 3-6 months. -

Large Breast Augmentation - 750cc Saline Implants (B-Cup to DD-Cup) (2)
This is a 34 year old woman (5'4", 145 lbs) who wished to have a large breast augmentation. She presented during her consultation with a 34B cup, slight asymmetry and mild ptosis (droop) in the right breast. During our discussion, she explained that she had done her 'due diligence' on large breast augmentation, fully understood the potential complications associated with very large implants, and after looking through the before and after photos of every plastic surgeon she could find who performed large breast augmentations, she liked my results and reviews best. To achieve her desired size, I opted for 750cc Smooth Round ModeratePlus Profile Saline Implants (Mentor) with differential overfill. To achieve her desired shape, I performed a dual plane augmentation on the right breast and a traditional subpectoral/submuscular augmentation on the left breast. Photos taken 2 months later show a well healed and very happy patient. The breasts are very large and full but the implants are so well positioned that they still maintain the shape and slope of a natural looking breast. Her breasts are now symmetric and the mild ptosis in the right breast is no longer present, having been corrected with the inferior release of the dual plane approach. -
500cc Breast Augmentation DD-Cup (Silicone Implants) (2)
This is a 36 year old woman (5'9", 155 lbs) who wished to have breast augmentation in Albany, NY. She had not not had children and her bra size at time of consultation was a 34 B/C. She presented with mild asymmetry in the left inframammary fold (note how it is lower than the right) and the right nipple areola was positioned slightly outward compared to the left. She wanted her breasts to be larger and more symmetric while still maintaining a natural shape and appearance. To achieve these goals, I performed a dual plane breast augmentation using 400cc Moderate+ smooth silicone implants (by Mentor). The duel plane (bi-planar) approach allowed me to more precisely position each implant within the lower poles of each breast - resulting in far more symmetry between each breast. Photos taken 3 months after surgery she the patient to be very well healed. The implants are ideally sized and positioned. The breasts present a classically appealing shape and silhouette and appear entirely symmetric. -
Before & After Breast Lift + Augmentation (Silicone Implant) (3)
This is a very petite 28 year old mother of two (5'0" , 100lb.) from Kingston, NY who breast fed both children for an extended period of time. This left her with deflated breasts that had very little superior volume (top half of breast) and significant ptosis (droop/sag). Her pre-op bra size was a 34B/C and she wished to be a firm and full 34C after augmentation. In order to achieve her desired result, she underwent augmentation mastopexy with 375cc silicone breast implants placed submuscularly. Her post post-operative recovery was uneventful (without complication). Photos taken 6 months after surgery show the completeness of her recovery and the quality of her result. The breasts are full, firm and natural in appearance. They're elegant, yet youthfully full (especially in the upper pole). The scars are settling in nicely and will continue to fade over time. Suffice to say, the patient is pleased with her result and decision to undergo a breast life & augmentation. -
Albany Rhinoplasty (Bridge & Tip) Before & After (3)
This is a 36 year old woman (from Niskayuna, NY) who had been unhappy with the appearance of her nose for quite some time. Specifically, she did not like the prominent dorsal bump/hump (which had developed during adolescence) and felt that the tip lacked refinement due to it's thickness and subtle droop. To correct these concerns, the patient underwent open rhinoplasty to reduce the dorsal hump and set back and refine the hanging tip. Photos taken only 1 month later show her nose to be healing wonderfully. The dorsal bump is no longer present and the nose has a much softer and delicate appearance without looking overdone or unnatural. The eyes now enjoy the most attention and her face has taken on a softer and more youthful look since surgery. I expect this result to become even more refined and attractive as residual swelling continues to subside over the next 6-9 months. -
Asian Eye Lift (Blepharoplasty) (2)
This is a 62 year old Asian gentleman from Albany, NY who presented with puffiness below his lower eyelids (eye bags). Contributing factors included a family/genetic predisposition for lower eye lid bags and allergies. He felt that the puffiness made him appear tired and older than his otherwise healthy and youthful complexion would suggest. Complicating the situation however, was a retinal detachment to the right eye fifteen years previously. After obtaining clearance from his ophthalmologist, the patient underwent a lower lid blepharoplasty utilizing a subciliary incision. The herniated fat which caused the puffiness was removed along with a small strip of skin. The lower lids were also stabilized to prevent the possibility of any post-op drooping. Photos taken 3 months later show a completely healed patient enjoying the result of his lower lid blepharoplasty. His once tired and puffy eyes are now bright and full of life - creating a subtle yet significant improvement in the overall appearance of his face. -
Albany Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) After Weight Loss (2)
This is a 64 year old woman (5'6" - 170lb.) from Avril Park, NY who had lost over 80lbs after undergoing gastric bypass surgery. This unfortunately left her with a rather large abdominal pannus (pouch) and laxity of the skin which caused irritation. In order to remove the excess skin tissue and sculpt her mid-section into a pleasing form, the patient underwent a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with liposuctioning of the hips. Photos taken 3 months later show an abdomen that reveals rather than hides the results of her gastric bypass procedure. The abdomen is taunt, flat and firm. Her recovery was swift and free of any complications. The patient is very pleased with the outcome of her tummy tuck procedure and quality of care she received both before and after surgery. -
Albany Breast Augmentation (Post-Pregnancy) A-Cup to Small C-Cup (2)
This is a 30 year old (5'7", 130lb) mother who presented with postpartum loss of breast volume. She also displayed mild asymmetry with the left breast. slightly larger and a bit lower than the right breast. Her bra size at the time of her consultation was a 36A and her goal was to once again be a 36C. We accomplished these goals with a dual plane augmentation using different sized smooth silicone breast implants. The dual plane approach (implant positioned partially below the muscle, leaving the bottom half not above) allowed for a slight elevation of the left breast and help to minimize asymmetry. Photos taken just 3 months after surgery show completely healed, completely symmetric and ideally sized breasts. They have been returned to their pre-pregnancy volume and appear entirely natural. -
Vertical Breast Lift + 450cc Augmentation After Breast Feeding (2)
This is a 46 year old mother of 2 (5'10", 167lbs) who not only breast fed during both pregnancies but more recently lost quite a bit of weight. The net effect of each of these events on her breasts was the significant loss of volume and 2nd degree ptosis (droop). Her bra size at time of consultation was a 36C cup. She wished to be a full 36D cup after surgery. In order to achieve her desired result, a 450cc silicone breast implant (Mentor Moderate+) was placed submuscularly and combined with a vertical mastopexy (breast lift) to reposition the nipple areola and surrounding breast tissue. Photos taken 4 months later show breasts that are healing wonderfully. The surgical incisions, which are still a little pink, will continue to mature and fade over the next 3+ months. The breasts are full and ideally positioned with a very natural shape and swoop. The patient has achieved her desired result without looking "fake" or "unnaturally full" and is very pleased with her decision to have the procedure. -
Albany Breast Augmentation (Recovery Time) (6)
This is a 31 year old mother of two (5ft 6in, 141 lbs.) from Clifton Park, NY who not only breast feed both children but also, impressively, lost 60 lbs. following the birth of her second child. This resulted in a significant loss of breast volume and mild glandular ptosis (drooping). She presented with a pre-surgery bra size of 34B. The loss of volume was corrected and a mild glandular lift achieved, utilizing a dual-plane breast augmentation with moderate plus silicone implants. Photos taken at one month post-operation show nice superior fill and gentle rotation of the nipple/areola complex upward. Also the glandular ptosis has been completely corrected. At three months, the breasts have completely settled, leaving the patient with a wonderful result that has met her pre-augmentation goals. -
Breast Augmentation (Thin Petite Frame) (3)
This is a 25 year old young woman (5'8", 120lbs) who wished to increase the size of her breasts, which she felt were too small for her frame. Because she presented with very good skin elasticity and well positioned nipple areola complexes, a straight forward breast augmentation using smooth high profile 450cc silicone implants through an inframammary incision and submuscular placement. Her post-op recovery was 'unremarkable' (aka complication/problem free) and photos taken 2 years later show how nicely her breasts have settled. They have a natural fullness without appearing fake or overly inflated and their size is right in relation to the her tall, thin frame. Suffice to say, the patient is overjoyed with her result and feels much more confident in her appearance, both in and out of clothing. -
Facelift + Neck Lift + Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty) (3)
This is a 60 year old woman who presented with wished to do something proactive about the gradual res of facial aging. This resulted in laxity to her neck, early jowl formation and loss of cheek fullness. Her upper eyelid skin was also beginning to droop which caused her eyes to appear tired, heavy and less open. After thoroughly discussing her aesthetic goals we determined that a 3 pronged approach would provide the greatest rejuvenation and correct each of the issues noted above. Specifically, the patient underwent a 4 lid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) and standard facelift where the deeper fascia were placated and liposuction of the neck was performed. Photos taken only two months later show the patient to be completely healed. Her face appears natural, soft, vibrant and refreshed. Instead of an over-operated (or 'pulled too tight') appearance, she looks just like she did 10 or so years ago - which is the sign of a first rate facelift. Suffice to say, the patient is very pleased with the result and so am I.

Before & After Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty) (3)
This is a 25 year old woman from Albany, NY who has long been bothered by the appearance of her nose - specifically, that it was distracting from the overall delicate features of her face. She presented with a a long nose with prominent dorsal bump and a bulbous, overhanging tip. This was corrected with an open rhinoplasty with take down of the dorsum, shortening of the caudal septum and slight elevation of the tip. A tip-plasty was also performed to give the nose a finer, more triangular appearance. Lastly, an in-fracture was carried out to reposition the nasal bones and close the open roof created by the removal of the bump. Photo taken just 6 weeks later show the nose to be healing wonderfully. By addressing the irregularities and asymmetries of her pre-surgery nose, we were able to achieve a much more harmonious shape and size. Her nose now has a refined, elegant and natural appearance that enhances the rest of her face (especially the eyes). -
Rhinoplasty + Septoplasty (Deviated Septum Repair) (4)
This is a 23 year old female who for many years had not like the appearance of her nose. While there was no specific or significant trauma to speak, the nose and septum were nontheless deviated, a dorsal deformity was present and the tip was irregular. She also suffered from breathing difficulties related to the deviated septum. This was corrected with an open approach rhinoplasty with a sub-mucous resection (SMR) septoplasty. Six weeks later the nost has healed very nicely. It is now more delicate, elegant and in balance with her facial features. She can breath normally and is quite pleased as noted in her testimonial. -
Open Rhinoplasty (Photos Taken 7 Days After Surgery) (4)
This is a 25 year old woman who for many years was concerned abut the appearance of her nose. She presented with a prominent dorsum with an overhanging tip. The tip cartilage was also asymmetric and separated. I corrected these issues with an open rhinoplasty in which the dorsum was lowered slightly, the tip was elevated and the cartilage made symmetric in shape. In most rhinoplasty cases, you need to wait several months to take photos that can accurately capture the changes made during surgery. But in this case, photos taken only 1 week post-op do such a terrific job highlighting the natural and very pleasing results achieved from surgery, that I think they're worth sharing now. Specifically, there is a perfect transition from the dorsum to the tip, the alar rims (nostrils) have been lowered and given a gentle curve (see side photos) that arcs perfectly above the base of the columella (middle section at the base of the nose). The nostril correction is especially important because a notched alar (high or 'flaring' nostrils) are one of the tell-tale signs of a poor nose job. Of course, being only 1 week after surgery, the proximal and mid 1/3 (bridge & vault of nose) is still swollen following the in-fracture - but this will subside significantly over the next 4-6 weeks, leaving an appropriately narrow width that will look precisely as it should. She now has the nose she always wanted without looking like she had a 'nose job'. -
Rhinoplasty (Nose Re-shaping) - Case 2 (5)
This is a 18 year old South American young lady who wished to have her rose reshaped. The nose was long and overhanging with a prominent dorsum. Her tip was slightly ill-defined as well. This was corrected with an open rhinoplasty to remodel the underlying hang and cartilaginous structures. The goal was to make the nose smaller, delicately defined and more in sync with the other features of her face. Two months later her nose has healed quite nicely and the patient was very pleased with the results of her rhinoplasty surgery. -
Rhinoplasty (Nose Re-shaping) (5)
This is a 19 year old girl who was getting ready to go off to college. She presented with a large overhanging nose and troubled breath. This was corrected with an open rhinoplasty with a submucus resection and septoplasty. Two months later the nose is well healed and the patient can breath with ease. It is smaller and every-so-slightly elevated with a very attractive natural appearance. It does not look like a "nose job" and this makes her very happy. -
Breast Augmentation (mammaplasty) (5)
This is a 31 year old (5'6", 120lbs) mother of two who has loss of breast volume and mild asymmetry following pregnancy. She underwent breast augmentation with 425cc smooth saline implants (495cc right, 460cc left) placed sub-muscularly through an inframammary incision. They were filled differentially to achieve symmetry and to increase her bra size from a 34 A/B to a 34 D. -
Breast Augmentation After Child Birth (6)
This is a 38 year old (5'6", 120lbs) mother of 3 who breastfed all three children. This resulted in a substantial loss of volume in her breasts, particularly within the upper-pole region, which created the deflated appearance evident in the photos taken before surgery. She wished for her breasts to be fuller - though not overly or overtly so - and maintain a natural teardrop shape. This was accomplished with a sub-pectoral (submuscular) breast augmentation utilizing 275cc smooth silicone implants. Photos taken 1 month after surgery show what the early stages of a fantastic result often look like. They also do a great job illustrating the effects of swelling on implant position (too high, not yet settled) and nipple projection (point downward compared to their final projection, which is ideal). Photos taken 5 month post-operation show the final result, namely fully healed, elegantly formed, natural teardrop breasts. Having successfully regained her pre-pregnancy fullness without appearing augmented or unnatural, the patient is very happy and so am I. -
Breast Enlargement (B Cup to Small D Cup) (5)
This is a 21 Year old woman (5'7", 122 lbs)from Troy NY who wished to increase her bra size from a 34 A/B to a 34 C/D. This was accomplished with a submuscular augmentation utilizing a smooth saline implant. 3 months post operatively, her breast size has been augmented to the desired size while still maintaining a natural and proportional appearance in relation to her relatively tall frame. -
Before & After Breast Augmentation (A-Cup to C-Cup) (3)
This is a 30 year old mother of two (5'5", 140lbs) from Albany NY who lost significant breast volume after breast feeding. Her bra size was 34A at the time of her consultation and her primary concern was the lack of balance between her upper and lower body. After discussing all options, the patient decided to undergo dual plan breast augmentation mammoplasty utilizing smooth silicone prosthesis (Mentor implants). Photos taken 3 months after surgery show a completely healed patient. Her breasts are symmetric, completely natural in appearance and the balance between her upper and lower body is now ideal. The breasts fullness has been restored and her bra size is now 34C. -
Asymmetric Breast Augmentation + Areola Reduction (5)
This is a 21 year old woman (5',5", 115 lbs) from Albany NY with significant breast asymmetry. Her right breast was approximately 75cc larger than her left (B-cup right bra size vs A-cup on the left). The right nipple areola was also considerably larger in size. We corrected these issues through a differential augmentation utilizing a smooth saline prosthesis and a right periareolar mastopexy (lift). 3 months later the breasts are symmetrical in size, ideally positioned and very natural in appearance. The nipple areola are also of the same size and shape. -
Breast Augmentation with Saline Implants (6)
This is a 31 year old (5'0", 108lbs) woman who presented with small breasts which she wished to enlarge. Her bra size was a 34 A. This was corrected utilizing a 350cc high profile saline breast implants with submuscular augmentation mammoplasty. 6 weeks later shows that she is well healed. Her breasts are now full and to her desired size even though she has a small frame. Her post-op bra size is now a 34 D. -
Differential Breast Augmentation Using Silicone Implants (4)
This is a 29 year old woman (5'5", 120 lbs) from Schenectady, NY who presented with mild breast asymmetry and wish for a fuller breast size. This was achieved through a differential breast augmentation using silicone gel implants placed in the submuscular plane. The final results display excellent balance and shape. Her bra size increased from a 34 B-cup to a 34 D-cup after surgery. -
Breast Augmentation (A-Cup to Small C-Cup) (3)
This is a 29 year old mother of 2 (5'6", 120lbs) from Kingston, NY who always had small breasts, but lost even more volume following her 2 pregnancies. Her bra size at the time of consultation was 34A and she wished to be a small C-cup after surgery. She also presented with a short nipple-to-inframammary fold distance which needed to be address in order to obtain the most ideal nipple position possible. We achieved her goals by way of a submuscular breast augmentation utilizing 350cc Moderate-Plus profile smooth silicone breast implants (Mentor MemoryGel). Her inframammary crease was also very gently lowered to allow for proper positioning of the prostheses. Photos taken just 2 months later show her breasts to be settling in nicely. Her bra size is now a 34C and her new breasts match the proportions of her body beautifully. Cloths fit more easily and she is extremely happy to finally have the breasts she always wanted. -
Breast Augmentation (34A to 34C) (3)
This is a 41 year old mother of two (5'5", 124 lbs) from Albany NY who presented with significant postpartum loss of breast volume (a common occurrence after pregnancy). THis made it difficult to appropriately size and feel comfortable in clothing and bathing suits. We corrected these issues with a submuscular augmentation with smooth saline breast implants and a gentle lowering of the inframmamary crease. Photos taken 3 months later show that the breasts are well healed, maintain a very natural appearance and have wonderful fill and figure. This is because the mild crease lowering I performed enabled the implants to sit in a much more ideal position. Her pre-op bra size of 34A is now a 34C and she no longer has difficulties finding or feeling perfectly comfortable in whatever clothing she chooses to wear. -
Breast Augmentation Using Different Sized Implants (5)
This is a 36-year-old mother of two (5’4” 115 pounds) who has a post partum loss of breast volume and mild asymmetry. The breasts are also widely separated. This was corrected with bilateral augmentation mammoplasty utilizing different sized smooth silicone prosthesis. Three months later the breasts are full and symmetric with excellent central cleavage. Her body’s shape is now nicely balanced. -
Dual Plane Breast Augmentation (5)
This is a 39 year old (5'2", 115lbs) mother of two who had loss of breast volume follower her pregnancies. Her bra size was a 34 A/B and she wished to be a bit larger - specifically in the 34 B/C range. This was accomplished with a dual-plane augmentation (upper pole of the breast beneath the muscle / lower pole beneath the breast gland) utilizing a 325cc smooth silicone prosthesis. The dual plane approach incorporates the advantages of both techniques (sub-muscular and sub-glandular). 2 months post-operation shows excellent superior fill and symmetry with gentle elevation of the nipple areola without the need for a mastopexy. -
Large Breast Augmentation Using 500cc Silicone Implants (5)
This is a 23-year-old white female (5’4“, 125 lbs) who presented with a bra size of 34B. She wished to be significantly larger (in the "full D" range), utilizing silicone prostheses and a periareolar incision. What made this case a challenge was the slightly lower position of the nipple areola, which with a large prosthesis, could be accentuated if not properly placed. We achieve her goals using 500cc moderate plus smooth silicone prosthesis and a duel plane augmentation. Post op photos taken one year later show that the inframammary fold has been noticeably lowered but the prosthesis have not completely settled. Her new bra size is a 34D and her periareolar incision has healed very nicely. At one year the breasts have settled completely, they look completely natural and enhance her frame with in a graceful manner. -
Large Breast Implants (Silicone 450cc) Post-Pregnancy (5)
This is a 24 year old (5'1", 110 lbs, Albany NY) mother of one who had loss breast volume following her pregnancy. She wished for larger breasts so we proceeded with a 450cc silicone gel implant placed sub-muscularly through an inframammary incision. This provided her with better symmetry, particularly on the medial right breast. Her bra size improved from a 32 A/B to a 32 C/D. -
Breast Augmentation, Post Pregnancy (5)
This is a 33 year old (5'5", 120lbs) mother of three who had complete loss of breast volume following pregnancy. She underwent breast augmentation with 500cc bilateral smooth silicone high-profile gel prosthesis, dual plane positioned, through an inframammary incision. This gave her excellent superior fill and increased her bra size from a 34A to a 34C. -
Breast Augmentation, Sub-Muscular Smooth Saline Implants (5)
This is a 44 year old woman (5'4", 115lbs) who suffered from complete loss of breast volume following pregnancy. What made this case particularly challenging was the degree of chest wall tightness. She was able to achieve a more pleasing appearance with breast augmentation utilizing a 275cc smooth saline prosthesis placed sub-muscularly. This brought her from a 34AA to a 34B with while still maintaining a very natural appearance. -
-
Large Breast Implant Revision/Replacement (1)
This is a 36 year old woman (5'8", 140 lbs) from Albany NY who had undergone breast augmentation by another plastic surgeon in a neighboring state utilizing a trans-umbilical approach ("tuba" or 'through the belly button'). Unfortunately, the right implant was placed too high which produced an unsatisfactory look. She also presented with a moderate capsule contractor which required correcting as well. To add a bit more complexity to the case, the patient also requested to be significantly larger - a full D cup bra size. I addressed all of these issues by performing a bilateral capsule release - more so on the right than left - and replaced her prothesis with 600cc moderate profile smooth silicone implants. Photos taken 3 months later show that her breasts have revised to a much more appealing symmetry and enlarged to her desired 38 D bra size. They are soft, perky and provide plenty of upper pole fullness. Most importantly, the patient is much much happier and confident as a result of her breast revision surgery. -
Breast Reduction (Inverted T Incision) (5)
This is a 28 year old (5'6", 130lbs) with large, ptotic (drooping) breasts. This caused her considerble neck and shoulder pain with grooving from her bra straps. This was corrected with a traditional inverted T reduction mammoplasty removing 470 grams from the right breast and 490 grams from the left breast. She now has nicely elevated breasts and better proportion in relation to her figure. -
Vertical Breast Lift + Saline Implants for a 50 Year Old Woman (3)
This is a 51 year old (5'3", 117lbs) mother of 3 from Clifton Park, NY who had been concerned about the sagging and deflated look of her breasts since she first took notice of these changes, which was a short time after the birth of her 1st child. She presented with significant ptosis (droop) of both breasts and from our discussions, it became clear that she had 2 specific surgery goals: first, she wanted her breasts lifted to their pre-pregnancy position and second, she wanted cleavage (upper pole fullness), but not by increasing the relative size of her breasts (which is how many surgeons/patients achieve more fullness in the upper pole). I accomplished these goals by combining a small submuscular breast augmentation utilizing 200cc Moderate Profile Saline implants with a vertical mastopexy and inferior reduction of 60 grams on either side. This moved the breast fullness to above the nipple areolar complex and diminished the amount of excess skin tissue below - creating a more aesthetically pleasing tear-drop shape and silhouette. Photos taken only 2 months later show that she is well on her way to an exceptional result. She is healing wonderfully, her breasts look completely natural in appearance from every angle and the scars are blending in at a faster-than-normal rate. Her bra size is still a 34C, but she no longer requires one to create the impression of a perky, full and ample carriage. The patient is very pleased with the result of her surgery and the decision to have me perform it, which her thank-you note (copied below and shared with permission) confers:
"Dr. DeLuca has changed my life. I now have the confidence and self esteem that I lacked for so many years. As soon as I walked into his office I felt completely comfortable. Dr. Deluca listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions without rushing me through any part of the consultation. Choosing Dr. DeLuca was the best decision I've ever made. Gloria and his staff were so helpful throughout the entire process. Case in point: I once called the office before hours a few days after my procedure because I was being a nervous nilly about something... they called me right back and answered all of my questions, putting me instantly at ease. Dr. DeLuca is not only an amazing surgeon but a caring man and a true artist. I can recommend him enough. Thank You Dr. DeLuca for everything." -
Vertical Mastopexy (Breast Lift) with Saline Implant Augmentation (5)
This is a 44 year old woman (5'4", 120lbs) who suffered from post-partum loss of breast volume, particularly in regards to superior and 2nd degree ptosis (droop). Her pre-op bra size was a 36 B/C. This was corrected with submuscular augmentation utilizing smooth saline implants and a vertical mastopexy (breast lift). 3 months after surgery her breast are very nicely elevated and full. The nipple areola are in the proper position as seen best in the left and right lateral (side) views. The scars have blended in nicely and she can certainly go without a bra if desired. Her post-operation bra size is now a 36 C/D. -
Breast Reduction & Mammoplasty (5)
This is a 46 year old woman (5'5", 138lbs) with large breast and significant ptosis (drooping/sagging). This resulted in neck and shoulder pain and grooving from her bra. We corrected these problems with a modified "wise-pattern inverted T reduction mammoplasty" removing 550 grams from the right breast and 580 grams from the left. Photos taken post operatively at four months show minimal scarring, a pleasing appearance to the breasts and significant improvement in her symptoms. -
Breast Lift & Augmentation, Smooth Saline Implant (5)
This is a 36 year old (5'6", 133lbs) mother of two with post-partum loss of breast volume and significant ptosis (this nipple & areola lies well below the inframmamary crease). This was corrected with an augmentation mammoplasty and simultaneous vertical mastopexy. Her bra size went from a 36 B/C to a 36 C/D and both nipple & areola are now positioned correctly. Patient has mused that she can now comfortably go braless and wear halter tops. -
Breast Lift & Augmentation, Smooth Saline Implants (5)
This is a 44 year old (5'4, 120lbs) woman who had post-partum loss of breast volume particularly in the superior and 2nd degree ptosis (droop). Her bra size was a 36 B/C. This was corrected with submuscular augmentation utilizing smooth saline implants and a vertical mastopexy. 3 months later, her breasts are now elevated and full. The nipple-areola are in the proper position (see lateral views). The scars have blended in nicely and she can certainly go without a bra if desired. Her new bra size is a 36 C/D. -
Vertical Mastopexy (Breast Lift with Areola Reduction) (5)
This is a 23 year old young woman who is a very active physical therapist. She is 5'1" and weighs 125lbs. She had long felt that her breast size limited her activities, especially running. They were mildley asymmetric and ptotic (drooping). She was also unhappy with the size of her areolas. I corrected these issues using bilateral vertical mastopexy (breast lifts) with small reductions to both breasts (25 grams on the right and 100 grams on the left). Two months later the breasts are well healed, idealy elevated and a bit smaller. Their porportion compliments both her physique and figure and the scars are healing quite nicely. Most importantly, she is now able to embark on long distance runs without any fear of discomfort. -
Breast Lift (Vertical Mastopexy) with Augmentation + Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) (6)
This is a 45 year old (5'5", 128lbs) woman who has developed ptosis (drooping) of the breasts following childbirth. She wished to be lifted, but not much larger. Her pre-op bra size was 36 C/D. This was accomplished with a a vertical mastopexy (lift) that included a small subpectoral augmentation utilizing a 150cc saline prothesis to give superior fill. 3 months later she is well healed. The breasts are elevated and the nipple areola higher. Her bra size remained relatively unchanged at 36 C/D. She also underwent a full abdominoplasty for post-partum laxity of the abdomen (photos coming soon). As with the breast lift, her tummy tuck has healed beautifully with minimal scarring and a much improved torso silhouette. -
Albany Mommy Makeover (Breast Lift + Augmentation + Tummy Tuck) (5)
This is a 45 year old (5'5", 130 lbs) mother of two from Albany NY who has had multiple previous abdominal surgeries, including 2 C-sections and a hysterectomy. The surgeries left her with fullness in the abdomen, particularly below the umbilicus (belly button), while breast feeding left her with mild asymmetry and ptosis (droop) - with the left side being more droopy than the right. We corrected these issues with a mommy makeover which included an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with liposuction of the hips and a submuscular breast augmentation utilizing silicone gel prothesis (re: Round Moderate Profile Plus, 350cc). She also underwent a peri-areolar mastopexy to elevate the nipple areola complex just enough to achieve the ideal result. Photos taken three months after surgery show her to be healing wonderfully and progressing towards a terrific final result. Her abdomen and breasts have returned to their pre-pregnancy appearance and give her a much more pleasing shape and silhouette. The tummy tuck incision line is optimally located and already, difficult to discern. The breasts have achieved the target cup size increase, from 34 B to 34 C. -
Mini-Tummy Tuck with Liposuction + Vertical Mastopexy (Breast Lift) (8)
This is a 35 year old (5'3", 140lbs) mother of two. She presented with both the 2nd degree ptosis (drooping) of her breasts and a 36D bra size. She also had fullness in her abdominin, hips and posterior thigh regions as a result of her two pregnancies. We corrected the breast issues with a vertical mastopexy without a prosthesis (implant). The mid-region issues were corrected with a mini-abdominoplasty that included liposuction of the abdomen, hips, flank and posteriar thigh (4500cc of infusate, 4200cc removed). Photos taken 3 months later show a patient who has healed wonderfully. Her breasts are now firm and elevated. Her abdomen and hips are flatter and much more toned. And her waist now has a much more appealing contour and silhouette. -
Mommy Makeover (Tummy Tuck + Breast Augmentation + Liposuction) (5)
This is a 36 year old woman (5'8", 146 lbs) from Albany NY who presented with laxity of the lower abdomen, stretch marks and an old appendectomy scar. She also had postpartum loss of breast volume. We remedied all of these issues with a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction of the hips and a breast augmentation utilizing saline implants placed under the breast muscle. Three months later, the patient is well healed and very happy that the mommy makeover succeeded in helping her regain her pre-child birth form. The abdomen is flat and the stretch marks are less noticeable. The lateral (side) profile presents an ideal shape and silhouette and curves ever so slightly inward at the mid-abdomen before transitions into the lower belly and down through the hips. -
Albany Mommy Makeover (Breast Augmentation + Tummy Tuck) (3)
This is a 29 year old mother of 3 (5' 5", 155 lbs) from Albany NY who had breast fed all 3 children. As with many other women, the breast feeding, combined with the multiple pregnancies changed the look and feel of her breasts and abdomen rather dramatically. She was frustrated by these changes to her body and hoped that a "mommy makeover" could help her regain her pre-pregnancy figure. She wished for not only her breasts to be fuller (specifically, like they were while breast feeding), but for her abdomen to be tight and nicely sculpted as well (rather than lax and flabby). During her consultation, she presented with mild breast asymmetry and droop (ptosis). This was corrected with a full mommy makeover which combined a differential breast augmentation plus a periareolar mastopexy together with a full abdominoplasty plus liposuctioning of the hips. Photos taken only 8 weeks post-surgery show dramatic improvement to both her breasts and stomach areas. She is well healed and back to doing all normal activities. And most importantly to me, she is ecstatic about the results and loves her 'new' body. -
Post-Pregnancy Breast Augmentation Mastopexy + Tummy Tuck (10)
This is a 36 year old (5'4", 112 lbs) mother of four who, following multiple pregnancies, had lost volume in her breasts with accompanying glandular ptosis (drooping). She also had a significant amount of loose skin and stretch marks in her abdomen. This was corrected with a simultaneous augmentation mastopexy abdominoplasty. Implant type used was a smooth saline prosthesis. Two years later, the breasts have maintained an elevated and natural shape. The scars have blended in nicely. Her abdomen is flat and the stretch marks much less pronounced. A tummy tuck can remove stretch marks below the umbilicus (belly button). Those that remain are less noticeable. Patient was also very pleased that her abdominoplasty scar could be easily covered by a two piece bathing suite. -
Tummy Tuck + Liposuction + Breast Lift + Implants (7)
This is a 45 year old woman (5'5", 140lbs) who lost 100lbs 18 months previously following laparoscopic gastric banding. She works out regularly and watches her diet. She had both laxity of the abdominal tissue, weakened muscles and third degree ptosis (drooping) of her breasts. To correct these issues, we proceeded with a full abdominoplasty, liposuction of the hips and a vertical mastopexy with saline implants (375cc filled to 425cc bi-laterally, smooth moderate profile). THree months post-operatively demonstrates a smooth, flat abdomen with great contour, minimal scarring and a pleasing umbilicus (belly button). Her breasts are lifted with good superior fullness and possess an elegant shape. The difference in her appearance in both clothing and bathing suites is dramatic. -
Post-Pregnancy Weight Loss > Breast Lift + Tummy Tuck + Areola Reduction (3)
This is a 37 year old mother of two (5'4", 172 lbs) from Schenectady, NY who suffered from symptomatic macromastia (neck, shoulder and upper back pain as a result of large breasts). Her bra size was a 38 DD. She also presented with excess abdominal tissue, fullness in her hips and stretch marks as a result of her 2 pregnancies. We corrected these issues with a reduction mammaplasty (removing 630 grams from the right breast and 610 grams from the left breast) combined with a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction of the anterior (outer) hips.Photos taken 3 months post-op show her to be well healed and with a figure that is much more refined and pleasing, both in and out of clothing. Her breasts are no longer sympotmatic which has enabled her to become much more physically fit and active. The scars are also settling nicely and will continue to blend in over the next 6-12 months. -
Mommy Makeover - Breast & Body (Tummy Tuck + Liposuction) (3)
This is a 34 year old black female (5'10", 174 lbs) and former model residing in Albany NY who, following the birth of her 2 children, could not regain her pre-pregnancy figure despite a careful diet and regular exercise. Upon examination, I noted that her abdominal muscels had seperated, the skin around her waist was excessive/redundent and lax and that there was a bit too much fullness in the hips and medial (middle) thighs. She also presented with 1st degree ptosis (drooping) of the breast due to loss of volume. We corrected all of this with what is often refered to as a "mommy makeover" - namely: a dual plan breast augmentation utilizing smooth silicone prstheises, a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction of the medial thights and hips. The first set of photos shows her progression from before surgery through 1, 4 and 6 months post-op. As the photos reveal, the difference between her pre- and post-op apparency is dramatic. Her breasts are fuller and display an ideal teardrop shape (also note how their position and final shape settles over time). Her abdominen and hips are flat and the muscels of her stomach wall are once again tight. Together, her enlarged bust, tighter waist and streamlined hips create an elegantly balanced shape and siluette. Recovery was very easy - the scars are healing nicely and she was able to resume her excercise routine 3 weeks after surgery. Last but not least, her pre-surgery goal of 'regaining her before-child-birth body' has now changed to surpassing it. -
Upper Body & Back Lift After Major Weight Loss (7)
This is a 49 year old woman who lost 120 lbs through diet and exercise. This unfortunately left her with marked laxity of the breasts, abdomen, thighs, back and arms. After careful discussion and a review of all options, the patient decided to correct these issues with 4 procedures: An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) to correct the abdomen and lower back; an extended augmentation mastopexy to raise the nipple areola and create superior fill to the breast; a back lift to remove excess skin from the sub axillary (bra line below armpit) and upper back regions; and lastly, a brachioplasty (arm lift) to reshape and tighten the under portion of the upper arm, from the underarm region to the elbow. Photos taken 4 months after surgery show dramatic improvement. The patient's waist/midsection is now tight, well-shaped and in proportion/sync with her upper body. She no longer suffers from excessive or hanging skin tissue, particularly in the upper back region. Her breasts are elevated and firm. Her skin envelope correctly accounts for her major weight loss. And the post-op scarring, which will continue to improve, is very acceptable. -
Breast Lift, Tummy Tuck and Liposuction (Mommy-Makeover) (5)
This is a 29 year old (5'1, 165lbs) mother of two who, particularly since the birth of her last child eight month before first consultation, has been plagued with bilateral mastodynia (breast pain) which required manual elevation to relieve. Her pre-op bra size was 38DD. She also had significant post-partum laxity and fullness of the abdomen and hips with accompanying stretch marks. This was corrected with a simultaneous breast reduction (440 grams right, 480 grams left), full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and liposuction of the hips. She had a complication-free post operative course and four months later, shows dramatic changes. Her breast are nicely elevated and no longer painful. Her abdomen is flat and her torso has an appealing shape. Her bra size is now a 36 B/C, she has gone from and size 14 to a size 6 and she will have no problems whatsoever wearing a bikini. -
Post-Pregnancy Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) (3)
This is a 35 year Hispanic female (5'4", 148lbs) mother of two from Schenectady, NY. She was concerned with her central abdominal laxity and fullness that developed after the first pregnancy and grew more severe after the second. This was corrected with a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) that included plication (tightening) of the rectus sheath (stomach muscles). We also performed liposuction of the hips to create a more smooth and graceful outer curve. 3 months later, the patient has resumed all normal activities and has healed nicely. Her abdomen, waist line and hips look wonderful creating a much more pleasing silhouette. -
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) (4)
This is a 39 year old (5'4", 124lbs) mother of four by natural delivery. She had a mild diastasis (separation) of the rectus muscles and some laxity of the abdominal tissue. To remedy these issues, I performed a full abdominoplasty with generous undermining of the tissue, rectus plication (muscle tightening) and liposuction. What makes this case particularly challenging is that mild laxity and a short waist make it more difficult to keep the scar low near the pubis. That said, post operative photos taken at three months show a pleasing abdomen with a faint low scar that is easily covered by her undergarments. Patient was also very happy to finally be able to pierce her neoumbilicus (belly button) piercing. -
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) - Albany, NY (5)
This is a 37 year old (5'2". 130 lbs) mother of two from Troy, NY. She presented with mild laxity of the abdomenom and stretch marks as a result of her two pregnancies. Her wish was to flatten the stomach and have a more toned and slender silhouette. This was accomplished with a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) that included liposuctioning of the hips. 3 months later, she is well healed and very happy with her decision to have surgery. Her abdomen is flat and the contour much improved. The improved shape and tone of the stomach presents wonderfully both in and out of clothing as it compliments the entirety of her full frame and figure. -
Full Tummy Tuck (After Gastric Bypass Surgery) (3)
This is a 46 year old (5'1") woman from Niskayuna NY who underwent gastric bypass surgery 3 years ago and as a result, lost over 100 pounds. While the weight loss was extremely beneficial to her overall health, it also left her with skin laxity both above and below the umbilicus (belly button) which no amount of exercise was able to tighten or reduce. In order to correct the excess skin tissue and laxity, the patient decided to undergo a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with plication (tightening) of the rectus sheath (abdominal muscles). Photos taken just 2 months later show the results of surgery to be outstanding. The patient is completely healed and back to all activities (including rigorous exercise). Her abdomen is now flat, tight and beautifully sculpted to accentuate the graceful curve of her waist. She looks forward to wearing a bikini now - which only 3 years ago seemed like an impossible dream - and form fitting outfits present the type of silhouette she's always wanted. A wonderful and well earned result that will only get better with time since the patient is committed to continuing with her exercise regimen and healthy diet. -
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) with Liposuction (8)
This is a 47 year old black mother of 5 children (2 by c-section). One c-section utilized a pfannenstiel (bikini) incision; the other a lower abdominal midline incision. This left her with prominent scaring, laxity of the tissues and stretch marks. Patient was very unhappy with her post-pregnancy, round apple shaped body type and was on multiple medications for depression brought on by a negative body image. This was corrected with a full abdominoplasty plication (tightening) of the rectus muscles and aggressive liposuction of the hips. Five months after surgery her abdomen is flat, well healed and her waist line no longer has an apple shape. Her scars are minimal, her umbilicus appears normal and her stretch marks are far less noticeable. She no longer takes antidepressants and “feels like a new person” by enabling her to return to an earlier, more confident self. -
Tummy Tuck for Stomach Pouch (5)
This is a 42 year old (5'2") mother of two by c-section. She had lost 50pounds which left her with a great amount of laxity, particularly in the lower abdomen. She also had significant stretch marks. These were corrected with a full abdominoplasty and aggressive liposuction of the hips. She also had complete plication (muscle tightening) of the rectus fascia. Post op photos at four months show a dramatic improvement in her abdominal contour.

Full Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) After C-Section (4)
This is a 39 year old (5'5", 180 lbs) mother of two children by c-section who was left with significant abdominal laxity and fullness. She also wanted to get back into exercising and felt that starting from a better body composition would have a psychological boost (which is often the case). We accomplished her goals with a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with liposuction of the hips and thighs. Photos taken 6 months later show that she is healing nicely. Her stomach is flat, abdominal skin is tight, and the scars are minimal. She feels great about herself and is off to a strong start in her new exercise program. The benefits of this are that the newly toned core muscles only further improves an already optimal result. -
Tummy Tuck + Liposuction After Hysterectomy (4)
This is a 52 year old woman (5'4", 160 lbs) from Albany NY who had undergone numerous gynecological procedures over the years including a hysterectomy. These procedures left her with multiple scars, lax abdominal tissue and weak stomach muscles. She called her abdomen her "bottom in the front" in reference to the vertical fold the ran up the center. We corrected these issues via a full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with liposuction. Three months later, her belly is flat and tight. The incisions have healed wonderfully and her front no longer looks like a bottom. The muscle tightening also has had a dramatic effect on the thickness of her anterior (front) to posterior (back) thickness. (as the lateral/side photos highlight). -
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) + Liposuction (7)
This is a 35 year old (5'4", 140lbs) mother of two who had diffuse fullness of the abdomen, hip and back regions. To correct this she underwent a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with rectus muscle plication (tightening) and liposuction of the hips and lower back. Three months post operatively demonstrates an excellent contour, smaller waist size and minimal scarring. Note the marked diminution of the anterior/posterior extent of her abdomen which can be seen on the lateral (side) photographs). The patient expresses great joy in finally being able to wear form fitting clothing and two piece bathings suits with ease. -

Liposuction with Mini Tummy Tuck (5)
This is a 39-year-old female (5’4” 135 pounds) who works out frequently. She was concerned about the fullness in her abdomen, hips and thighs, though her skin tone was very good. In order to correct this she underwent Power Assisted Lipectomy (PAL) of the abdomen, hips and thighs with a mini tummy tuck. Post op photos taken four month later reveal a tight abdomen, better contour to the hips and posterior lateral thighs. The medial thighs no longer touch. The incision for the mini tummy tuck is kept well below the bikini line. Notice also the muscular contour of her abdomen is now visible which makes her workouts more gratifying and productive. -
Liposuction of Posterolateral/Medial Thigh ('Saddlebags') (5)
This is a 19-year-old woman (5’6” 135 pounds) with a narrow wait but fullness in the hip and postero-lateral/medial thigh area giving her a pear shaped lower body. This was corrected with Tumescent Power Assisted Liposuction (2200cc infused and 2100cc removed). Three months later her body/silhouette is more balanced and attractive. She no longer has Saddlebags and her contour in jeans is pleasing. As for swim wear, the skin has retracted without any signs of dimpling or laxity, which has also made her very happy. -
Liposuction (Thighs, Knees & Buttocks) (5)
This is a 29 year old woman (5'6", 125lbs) with a very small upper body but fullness in the posterior-lateral thigh (saddle bags), medial and lower thigh knee regions. There is poor transition from the lower buttocks to the posterior upper thigh and an ill defined gluteal crease. And lastly, her medial thighs touch. This was corrected with Tumescent power assisted liposuction of thighs, hip, lower buttock and knees (3500cc infused, 3600cc removed). Four months later there is a dramatic imporvement in the saddle bags and thighs. She has a pleasing buttock thigh transition, her medial thighs no longer touch and her knees are straight. Together, these corrections resulted in her lower body being nicely in balance with her upper. -
Power Assisted Liposuction (Hips, Thighs, Back & Stomach) (4)
This is a 28 year old woman (5’4, 145 pounds) who has diffuse fullness of her abdomen, hips, thighs and back following two pregnancies. This was corrected with aggressive Tumescent Power Assisted Liposuction with a total of 5500cc infused and 5800cc removed. Four months post-op shows a dramatic improvement in her body contour, shape & silhouette. Her abdomen is smooth and flat (no more waviness). There is spacing and symmetry between her medial (inner) thighs. Her back and hips are much less prominent as well. -
Male Stomach + Love Handles Liposuction (2)
This is a 38 year old male (5'10, 205 lbs) from Albany, NY who for years has been fighting fullness in his abdomen and flanks (love handles). Despite losing weight, the excess fat remained it both of these areas. We corrected this with tumescent power assisted liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. 2,000cc's were utilized in the central abdomen and 750cc per side (flank). An equal amount of aspirate was removed. Photos taken four months later show that his abdomen and love handles are far less full and markedly more svelte. Clothing and suites fit his frame much better and his silhouette appears far less heavy or bulgy. Liposuction in his case achieved what diet and exercise alone would've made far more difficult to accomplish. -
Lower Facelift & Neck Lift (w/ liposuction) + Upper & Lower Lid Blepharoplasty (4)
This is a 46 year old woman (5'6", 160lbs) from Florida who wasn't happy with how she looked after losing approximately 50lbs. This left her with some submental (under the chin) fullness and laxity to the lower face and neck. This was corrected with a lower facelift and neck lift (with submental liposuctioning). An upper & lower lid blepharoplasty was also performed to address heavy lidding and laxity within both the upper and lower lid. Photos taken six weeks post-operation show that she is already well healed and progressing wonderfully. Her face is more youthfull without appearing 'overdone'. The skin falls naturally creating a very nice angle to her jawline. Her eyes are now more open and bright - with a youthfullness that matches the rest of her face. -
Lower Blepharoplasty (Eye Bags) + Short Scar Facelift (3)
This is a 66 year old woman from Albany, NY who wished to correct several age-related facial issues. Specifically, her eye had become heavy and puffy, particularly beneath the lower lid (creating the appearance of 'eye bags'). Her mid-face had also descended significantly, and this left her with prominent jowls and a lax and fatty skin tissue in the neck. Her goals for surgery were to turn back the clock a few years and obtain a more vibrant and warm appearance. To achieve the patient's goals, I performed a 4-lid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) and short-scar facelift. Liposuction of the jowls and submental region (neck lift) just beneath her chin was also incorporated into the surgery. Photos taken 3 months later show the patient to be recovering beautifully. She looks refreshed and vibrant, but not to the point of looking 'overdone' or overly tight. Her eyes, which before looked tired, heavy and puffy, now appear bright, and well rested. The transition from the lower eyelid into the cheek is smooth and natural. Her mid face is now elevated and she now has an elegant, attractive jawline without the skin looking overly tight. View as a whole, each correction blends beautifully together, creating a unified and harmonious appearance - which the patient will certainly enjoy for many years to come. -
Endoscopic Browlift, 4-lid Blepheroplasty & Modified Facelift (5)
This is a 56 year old woman who presents with facial aging. She has hooding of the upper eyelids and poorly defined upper lid sulcus which create the appearance of sunken/hollow eyes. She has laxity of the mid face and jowl formation. There is also submental fullness and poor definition of the jaw. This was corrected with an endoscopic brow-lift, 4-lid blepheroplasty and modified facelift with suctioning and SMAS plication (muscle tightening). 2 months post-op the patient looks rejuvenated, refreshed and healthy without appearing overdone in the slightest. Her eyes are open and bright. Her cheeks and jowls are better positioned and her submental area and jawline elegantly defined. She appears more youthful without looking like she had a facelift, which is always the goal. -
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) - Upper & Lower Lids (6)
This is a 46 year old woman who felt that her eyes made her appear tired and older than she feels and is. She presented with hooding of the upper lids and permeated fat both in the upper and lower eyelid areas. This was corrected with a traditional 4 lid blepharoplasty with conservative fat excision and a subciliary incision with a skin muscle flap. A lateral canthoplasty (tightening of lower skin & subtle reshaping) was also utilized. Patient was back to work and able to apply makeup one week after surgery. 6 weeks later, her eyes are bright and open. There is a smooth transition from the lower eyelid to the cheek and she has an elegant upper eyelid (supratarsal) crease. Last but not least, appearing tired is no longer something she worries about. -
Blepharoplasty, (eyelid lift surgery) (5)
This is a 40 year old woman with hooding of her upper eyelids which causes her to feel and appear older than her age. This was corrected with an upper lid bletheroplasty done under local anaesthesia as an out patient procedure. Six weeks later her eyes are more open, well balanced, she looks refreshed and most importantly to her, not tired. From a techincal standpoint, there is now a nicely defined upper eyelid fold which enables makeup to go on easily. -
Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping) - Deviated septum repair (5)
This is a 26-year-old young woman who three years previously had sustained a nasal fracture from a fall. Unfortunately she did not seek medical attention at that time and the injury resulted in a deviated septum with airway obstruction and a post traumatic deformity to the nose itself. This was corrected with an open rhinoplasty with a submucous resection and septoplasty. The dorsal deformity was removed, the nose was straightened and the tip was made more delicate. Six weeks later, her breathing is once again normal, she is well healed and has an excellent cosmetic result which appears completely natural. According to the patient, her nose is even better than before her injury. -

Tuberous Breast Dual Plane Augmentation + Periareolar Mastopexy (5)
This is a 36 year old woman (5'2", 130lbs) who has tubular ptotic breasts with larger nipple areola and herniation of breast tissue into the areola (aka puffy nipples). Her bra size is 34B. This was corrected with a dual plane augmentation through a periareolar incision with 375cc silicone prosthesis and a periareolar mastopexy with debaulking of the areola. 3 months later the incisions are healing well, the breasts are elevated and have a natural round appearance (particularly medially) and smaller areola. Her bra size is now 34C. -
Tuberous Breast Correction + Augmentation (4)
This is a 26 year old woman (5'7", 140 lbs) from Albany NY. She presented with a very narrow breast mound that also was mildly tubular with moderately ptotic (droopy). Her bra cup size was a 34 A/B. We corrected this with a biplanar breast augmentation through a periareolar approach using silicone prothesis and a peri-areolar mastopexy. Photos taken 3 months later show that her breasts are now round, perky and naturally full. Her nipple areola are nicely positioned are more clearly defined due to the periareolar approach. She has a normal/ideal amount of cleavage and her base width has been extended so that she no longer appears tubular. Lastly, her bra cup size is now a 34 C. -
Tuberous Breast Correction - Biplanar Augmentation (5)
This is a 30 year old woman (5'7", 122lbs) who displayed the characteristics of tubular breasts. Her breast had a very narrow base width, a short nipple to IMF (inframammary-fold) distance and large nipple-areolar complexes. This was corrected by releasing the lower breast tissue through an inframammary incision with a biplanar augmentation utilizing 325cc moderate profile saline prosthesis. She also had a periareolar mastopexy to diminish the size of her areola and raise their position. Three month later, the patient is well healed and her breasts have a very natural, normal and pleasing appearance. Of particular import, the skin below the lower border of her areola is finally visible and of ideal proportion. -
Breast Revision/Correction - Double Bubble Deformity (3)
This is a 21 year old young woman (5'3", 122 lbs) from Massachusetts who 3 years ago underwent bilateral subpectoral augmentation with 350cc tear drop (anatomic) saline prothesis. This unfortunately left her with a severe double bubble deformity and loss of her inframammary fold position. The majority of each implant became situated below the nipple areolar complex - with the right breast implant being slightly lower than the left. This occurred because the inframammary fold was improperly disrupted during her original augmentation. This very difficult problem was corrected with bilateral internal capsulorrhaphy, which recreated the inframammary fold and closed the lower pole of the previously created breast pocket. Her saline breast implants were replaced with 500cc Moderate Plus Smooth Silicone Gel breast implants since she wished to be a full C Cup bra size post surgery. Photos taken 6 weeks after surgery show that the breasts are looking and healing wonderfully. They appear and feel as breast should. The prosthesis are ideally positioned and the nipple to inframammary fold distance has been reconstructed to an appropriate length (namely, 6-7cm). Suffice to say, the patient no longer feels self conscious about her breasts. Instead, she feels ecstatic about finally having the breasts she always wanted. -
Vertical Breast Lift + Implant (2 Months Post-Op) (0)
This gallery does not contain any pictures! To add pictures, click on the gallery title (or icon), and select "upload new pictures" from within the gallery.
This is a 36 year old (5'5", 124 lbs) mother of two from Albany, NY with significant postpartum loss of volume and breast ptosis (drooping). Specifically, she is a grade II ptosis which many surgeons would treat with a traditional inverted T mastopexy. Some would even request that she break the surgery up into 2 separate procedures. In order to minimize scarring and complication risk (which increases with a 2nd surgery) I performed a vertical mastopexy with a simultaneous submuscular silicone augmentation. Even at only 7 weeks post-surgery, you can get a good idea of what the final result will look like after more healing has taken place. The breasts have a much more youthful appearance, greater symmetry and volume and look naturally perky from all angles. The incision marks, while still noticeable, are healing quite nicely and will continue to fade out over the next few months. The patient is very happy with the results and so am I. -
Dual Plane Breast Augmentation - Asymmetry Correction (C-Cup to D-Cup) (0)
This gallery does not contain any pictures! To add pictures, click on the gallery title (or icon), and select "upload new pictures" from within the gallery.
This is a 27 year old (5'6", 120lbs) woman who presented with mild breast asymmetry. Her right breast was slightly smaller and better positioned while her left breast had a small amount of glandular ptosis and the nipple areolar complex was 1cm lower than the right. She did not wish to have any sort of lift on the left breast since this small discrepancy was not much of a concern. She also wished for a 'full' appearance with projection similar to high-profile implants. Her asymmetry was corrected with bilateral dual plane augmentation utilizing moderate plus profile silicone implants - 475cc within the right breast and 450cc within the left. Photos taken only 2 months after surgery show the patient to be healing wonderfully. Her breasts are now at their desired size, with an attractive amount of upper pole fullness. The slight asymmetry has been corrected as noted by the even position of the upper border of the breast mound. The location of the left nipple areola has also been improved in relation to the right. Given the quality of the final result, the patient is quite pleased and so am I.
