This is a 37 year old white female. She is 5’2” and 130lbs. She has lost 80lbs over the last two and a half years. Her only previous surgery was a T&A and she does not smoke. She had two children via natural child birth. Her bra size was a 34A with mild glandular ptosis. Her desire was to be in that nice C cup range and at the same time remove the lax skin to her abdomen following her significant weight loss. Examination determined a base width of 13.5cm; with external sizing she felt an implant in the 400cc range would be appropriate. As far as her abdomen was concerned she would require a full abdominoplasty with a small plication but without any liposuction. In order to achieve her results she underwent a dual plane augmentation mammoplasty utilizing a 400cc moderate plus smooth silicone prosthesis and a full abdominoplasty with plication. Her postoperative course was completely unremarkable and three months later she can see the full results of her surgery. The breasts have achieved her desired size and natural appearance and her abdomen is flat and nicely shaped. She is back to all normal activities and is quite pleased with the change in her appearance.
