This set of abdominoplasty before and after photos features a 31 year old white female. She is 5' 9" 220 lbs and has lost 80 lbs on her own through diet and exercise. She is a nonsmoker. The weight loss has left her with laxity in her abdominal area particularly in the lower abdomen. This caused irritation and hygiene issues. In order to complete her transformation and to remove the laxity caused by her weight loss she underwent a panniculectomy and extended full abdominoplasty with some liposuction of the lateral hips. Her postoperative course was unremarkable. Within 3 weeks she was back doing most activities except vigorous exercise. Photos were taken 6 months after surgery show dramatic improvement in her body contour. The abdomen is flat and there is no longer the pannis to deal with from both the cosmetic and hygiene standpoint. She is now proportionate in any type of clothing and is quite pleased with her body’s change.
