This set of abdominoplasty before and after photos features a 64 year old woman (5'6" - 170lb.) from Avril Park, NY who had lost over 80lbs after undergoing gastric bypass surgery. This unfortunately left her with a rather large abdominal pannus (pouch) and laxity of the skin which caused irritation. In order to remove the excess skin tissue and sculpt her mid-section into a pleasing form, the patient underwent a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with liposuctioning of the hips. Photos taken 3 months later show an abdomen that reveals rather than hides the results of her gastric bypass procedure. The abdomen is taunt, flat and firm. Her recovery was swift and free of any complications. The patient is very pleased with the outcome of her tummy tuck procedure and quality of care she received both before and after surgery.
