This is a 39 year old healthy white female. She is 5’6” and 150lbs which is stable for her. She has had two c-sections, a laparoscopic cholecystectomy and a tubal. She is a non-smoker. Her first area of concern was her breasts. She had second degree ptosis with large areola, but was otherwise symmetric. Her bra size was a 36C and she wished to be in that full C range. As far as her abdomen was concerned, she had laxity both above and below the umbilicus as well as some weakness to the abdominal musculature. She also had a bit of fullness in the lower back area. Having discussed the risks and benefits of surgery she decided to proceed with the mommy makeover. She underwent a vertical mastopexy utilizing a 405cc classic smooth silicone implants as well as liposuction of the hips and lower back area of 2000cc’s with an abdominoplasty and plication. Since she was from out of town she stayed overnight in the area and then returned at 12 days for suture and drain removal. Her postoperative course has been completely unremarkable. Photos obtained at 2 months show that she has healed nicely. Her breasts are now full and elevated and the areolas are at a more appropriate size. Her abdomen is flat and she has a much more pleasing waist line. She is quite pleased with her results and is back to her very active lifestyle.
