Breast Augmentation Before and After > Differential subpectoral augmentation for mild asymmetry
This is a 27 year old white female. She is 5’3” and 123lbs which is her stable weight. She has had no
children and no history of previous surgery. Her bra size was a 34B with minor asymmetry. The left
breast was slightly larger than the right. She wished to be fuller in the mid C cup range, but not
excessively large. We discussed differential subpectoral augmentation at great length and preformed
external sizing. She underwent bilateral subpectoral augmentation with a 375cc moderate plus smooth
silicone prosthesis on the right and a 350cc prosthesis on the left, the left breast being ever so slightly
larger. Her postoperative course was unremarkable and photos obtained at three months show that she
has obtained her desired results. The breasts have nice fullness without being excessively large and still
have a very natural appearance. The mild asymmetry has been corrected and she is back to all normal
activities. She is quite pleased with her surgical result.
